Hake s smashes house record with $2.9M sale
Extremely rare Batman Batplane premium from a 1943 movie pressbook for The Batman Columbia serial. Only example Hakes has ever auctioned. Sold for $25,960, more than five times the high estimate.

Not only did the auction set a new monetary record for Hakes, it also achieved new highs for sell-through rate (98%), bidder volume, and the number of bids placed.

An auction house in central Pennsylvania is selling some extremely rare sports memorabilia.
Hake’s which has been specializing in collectibles in York since 1967 has opened up bidding on items such as a #57 Michael Jordon rookie card and various extremely rare Negro League baseball treasures later this month.
