Amanda and Jonathan chose the Dreams Las Mareas Resort & Spa as the place for their dream wedding in February 2020 after all, Costa Rica is where Jonathan had popped the question in an intimate and lavish proposal two years earlier.
The two university sweethearts knew that Costa Rica, with its vibrant and colourful f lora and fauna, would be the perfect backdrop for their nuptials. “We purposely chose navy for the bridesmaids to highlight their tropical bouquets, which featured vivid orange, red and yellow blooms as well as green tropical plants like monstera deliciosa and palms,” Amanda says.

Fresh flowers also took centre stage on the elegantly laid wooden harvest tables. “We loved the bright colours that reflected the beauty of our beach venue and the landscape of Costa Rica,” Amanda explains.
