On Monday, 11/16/2020, Officers were dispatched to the Lake Sawyer Boat Launch Park in regard to a report of an individual that had set up a tent in the park. Officers contacted the individual and advised them of park rules prohibiting camping and the individual agreed to leave the area.
On Monday, 11/16/2020, Officers were contacted by the victim of a fraud in which an unreported stolen vehicle was sold to them. Arrangements were made to return the vehicle to it’s owner, and an investigation is currently ongoing to determine possible suspect identity.
On 11/17/2020 an officer conducted a traffic stop at the Chevron gas station on 216th AVE SE and SE Kent Kangley RD. The driver was found to be driving with a suspended license, and he had an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Pierce County Sheriffs Department for DWLS 3rd degree.
