Author: Ryan Bialke, Facebook Red Lake Police Department has identified the officer killed by an armed suspect on Tuesday morning as Ryan Bialke, a six-year veteran of the force. Bialke, 37, died of gunshot wounds fired by a suspect who was arrested a short time later after he fled into nearby woods. Bialke had responded to a call of a suicidal male who possibly had children inside a house east of Redby. According to Red Lake PD, the suspect opened fire on officers when they arrived at the scene, with Bialke struck.
