Farmers to Families food giveaway moves to Soo Pass Ranch
Due to overwhelming traffic during their debut distribution event in February at the Boys and Girls Club thrift store parking lot, in Detroit Lakes, the Farmers to Families food box program will move to Soo Pass Ranch, the home of WE Fest, for their second distribution event, which will kickoff on Monday, March 22 at 5 p.m.

In February, the line of cars stretched from the thrift store parking lot, along the frontage road, onto Highway 10 and caused a traffic backup on Highway 59.

Firefighters Respond to Cattle Barn Fire In Lake Park

Lake Park, IA (KICD) The Lake Park Fire Department battled a Cattle Barn fire Monday.
Lake Park Fire Chief Brandon Ehret says when firefighters arrived on the scene at 1173 150th Avenue, there was some smoldering/on fire bedding material.
There were no injuries reported. Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
