Sea Salt restaurant picks Hendersonville for new location

A downtown Nashville restaurant that closed last year amid COVID-19 restrictions is expected to reopen later this spring at 209 Indian Lake Boulevard, Suite 100, in Hendersonville. Sea Salt is described as an upscale neighborhood restaurant. Its owners are eyeing a May opening, they said.  The menu pairs southern ingredients with fresh-caught fish and raised grass-fed beef, according to its website. Sea Salt opened on Nashville s Third Avenue  in 2017 and closed in April 2020. The restaurant drew customers from the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, TPAC and the Music City Center, and COVID-19 shutdowns led to the closing, co-owner Keith Zusk said. Ownership, which also includes Mike Haggerty and Chris Funk, looked at several locations to reopen, including East Nashville, before deciding on Hendersonville.
