(TNN) - Fort Sill officials have identified a civilian employee who passed away last week. Officials say 75-year-old Dana Whitcomb was found in his RV at Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area on Thursday, May 13. Next of kin have been notified and Whitcomb’s cause of death has not been determined. Officials say Whitcomb was a long-time employee with the U.S. Army Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation, working there for 15 years.

(TNN) - A Fort Sill civilian employee was found unresponsive Thursday at the Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area RV Park. Officials say military police went out to do a welfare check at the individual’s RV. Reynolds Army Health Clinic emergency responders were then called and determined the person was deceased when they arrived. The person’s cause of death is now under investigation and their name will be withheld until 24-hours after the next of kin has been notified.
