The Twin Lakes Village Board has approved the purchase of a new boat to be used by the water patrol on Lake Elizabeth this summer.
Boaters on Lake Mary also will see a different craft patrolling there this summer too.
The new boat will be a 2021 center console Bayliner purchased from SkipperBud’s for $42,260, but the boat will ultimately cost the village only about $11,000 after reimbursement through a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources program, said Twin Lakes Police Chief Adam Grosz. Water patrol is part of the TLPD.
The new boat will have a 200 hp outboard motor and fiberglass hull.

For three days, Phipps will convene leading biophilia experts for a virtual conference exploring relationships between the environment and the planet’s youngest citizens. SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA Grab your crab crackers, bibs, and melt the butter! The always-popular, much-anticipated crab feeds are back for 2021 in communities throughout the Bay Area.
Missing this year, due to the pandemic, are the all-you-can-eat, in-person gatherings. A drive-thru style is the option for multitudes of organizations still keen on raising funds for their various charities.
Do note that at most upcoming feeds, pre-ordering is required sometimes a few weeks in advance. So don t delay on reservations.
