Cambridge s community garden also a classroom
Staff report
CAMBRIDGE A group of volunteers from Cambridge and the surrounding area last weekend broke ground on a community garden in the village of Cambridge. The group planted peas, carrots, potatoes, onions, radishes and onions at the plot located next to the Cambridge Community & Youth Center. One of our many missions for this garden network is to give back to the village we love and call home, said April Boyd, one of the project s organizers. With good earth stewardship, we are confident we will be able to provide abundant fresh food to local food pantries and GROW ministries.

SPENCERVILLE The Boyer family dismissed it as a crazy, random thought at first.
Why adopt a special needs child from Eastern Europe? Especially now, as their newborn daughter with Down syndrome, named Eden, prepared for open-heart surgery?
