Citizens for a Safer Cleveland announced its campaign Tuesday for a ballot initiative that strives to reform police accountability and oversight.

CLEVELAND, Ohio Social advocacy groups on Tuesday launched a campaign for a ballot initiative to ensure fair and independent investigations of police misconduct in Cleveland.
Black Lives Matter Cleveland, NAACP Cleveland, ACLU Ohio, Stand Up For Ohio and Showing Up For Racial Justice Northeast Ohio formed the Citizens for a Safer Cleveland coalition, which aims to reform accountability and police oversight, said Rachael Collyer, an organizer for Stand Up for Ohio.

He was slated to appear in court Friday to answer to the charges.
According to cops, Miller and his father, Angelo Graci, 59, are accused in the Dec. 13 stabbing death of Michael Ivo White, 42, a father and grandfather.
Graci was arrested earlier this month and charged with first-degree murder.

Hamilton police have arrested one suspect and are looking for another after a mid-December stabbing on the Mountain.
A 59-year-old Hamilton man was arrested Wednesday near Upper James Street and Rymal Road and charged with the first-degree murder of 42-year-old Michael Ivo White, police say.
White was the city s 17th homicide victim of 2020.
Police said they received a 911 call during the morning of Dec. 13 about reports of a stabbing near East 27th Street and Concession Street on the Mountain, right across from Juravinski Hospital on the Mountain.
