US Cellular named Angelica Whitney of Concord as one of three winners from the company’s sixth-annual The Future of Good program. Whitney was selected out of hundreds of nominations from across the country as someone who is creating positive change in their community. As a selected winner, she received $10,000 to further her cause.
Angelica volunteers on behalf of her high school robotics team to create and donate PPE to agencies in her area to help maintain a safer community. The beneficiaries include police departments, hospitals, nursing homes, veterinary clinics, and schools including her own. She has raised $2,000 and created more than 7,000 pieces of additional PPE, such as door openers and earpieces for the benefit of lo

New Hampshire s top youth volunteers of 2021 by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, America s largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer service.
As State Honorees, Angelica and Gabrielle will each receive a
$2,500 scholarship, a silver medallion and an invitation to the program s virtual national recognition celebration in April, where 10 of the 102 State Honorees will be named America s top youth volunteers of the year. Those 10 National Honorees will earn an additional
$5,000 scholarship, a gold medallion, a crystal trophy for their nominating organization and a
$5,000 grant for a nonprofit charitable organization of their choice.
