NATIONAL Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz passed away on the evening of May 26 at the age 94, his daughter Angela Luz announced on social media.
“…He enriched our lives with his art, with his incredible talent and his genius. As a father and a grandfather, he was simply the best. He was the most kind and generous human being. And as a husband to my mother, he was perfect. He will be terribly missed, but will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on, and will last forever,” Ms. Luz wrote in a Facebook post.

Filipino painter, sculptor, and National Artist Arturo Luz passed away on May 26, 2021. The news about his demise was announced by his daughter Angela Luz through a Facebook post. He was 94.
“It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my father, our beloved National Artist, Arturo Luz. He peacefully joined his Creator at 8:45 this evening, and I stood by his side as he took his last breath,” Angela posted. “We could not have asked for anything more. God blessed my father with 94 of the most wonderful years on earth. He enriched our lives with his art, with his incredible talent and his genius. As a father and a grandfather, he was simply the best. He was the most kind and generous human being. And as a husband to my mother, he was perfect.”
“Mayor, samahan ko po kayo sa frame nyo!” a netizen wrote.
While another added: “It’s time mayor na magpamilya ka na.”
“kaw lang yung magisa (heart emoji) samahan kita.”
Note that among those that joined the proceedings were Vic, his kids and their respective families.
From his children with Dina Bonnevie Oyo Boy and Danica; daughter with Angela Luz, Paulina; son with Coney Reyes, Vico.
While Vic was with his wife Pauleen Luna and their baby girl Talitha Sotto.

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is making use of the holidays to catch up with family.
A few days ago, he visited her half-sister Paulina, daughter of his dad Vic Sotto with former actress Angela Luz.
Paulina updated fans about it, posting a photo of the heartthrob politician with her daughter, who also counts Vico as Ninong.
“Sachi finally met her Ninong Vico! Merry Christmas indeed,” she wrote as a caption to their photo together.
“My favorite Sotto (heart emoji) So happy to see you again @vicosotto,” Angela wrote.
Note that prior Vico also visited her father, Pauleen, and Tali.
