Former ER doctor pleads guilty to voyeurism, lewd conduct

(AP) â A former emergency room doctor at the University of Vermont Medical Center has pleaded guilty in state court to lewd and lascivious conduct and voyeurism after prosecutors say police found hidden cameras in a hospital bathroom with hundreds of images of hospital employees. On Tuesday, the judge did not accept the plea agreement for Eike Blohm, 39, because she first wants to hear from some of the 108 identified victims, WCAX-TV reported. Investigators also found digital devices at Blohmâs South Burlington home, some of which contained images of child pornography, prosecutors say. Blohm was fired from his job at the hospital. He was arrested in April 2020.

A former emergency room doctor from South Burlington has struck a deal for a prison sentence between 8 and 11 years in a major child pornography case, according to federal prosecutors. Eike Blohm, 39, agreed to admit next month in federal court to one felony charge of possession of child pornography, officials said. He also struck a deal with state prosecutors to get a concurrent sentence of almost seven years for related charges. Blohm agreed to plead guilty to one count of lewd and lascivious conduct and 20 counts of voyeurism, officials said. Blohm, who was employed by the University of Vermont Medical Center when arrested last year, was subsequently fired.
