Dallas to Spray After Mosquito Samples Test Positive for West Nile

The spraying will occur between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday night or both Tuesday and Wednesday nights, depending on the area. Here s each area that will be sprayed on Tuesday, Aug. 3, weather permitting: 3400 block of Grafton Avenue 75211: generally bounded by Burlingdell Avenue on the north, Burns Avenue on the west, South Ravinia Drive on the east, and June Drive on the south. 9000 block of Rolling Rock Lane 75238: generally bounded by Wallbrook Drive on the north, Lynbrook Drive on the west, Pandora Drive on the east, and Northwest Highway on the south.

Suspect on skateboard charged with assaulting city workers

Saskatoon police have arrested a man who allegedly assaulted two city workers. On Wednesday at about 8:20 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of 20th Street East and First Avenue South near Midtown for a report of an assault in progress. Three workers were fixing potholes at that location when someone threw a shovel at one of them. When another of the workers stepped in, the suspect hit that individual with a skateboard and then took off. Two workers were taken to hospital and treated for minor head injuries. On Thursday at about 7:45 a.m., police were called to 115th Street West and Central Avenue. A person there said they saw the suspect in the assault kicking a city bus.
