Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS foods not properly date marked (critical, corrected during inspection). Observed no date on the creamer machine in the service line. PIC placed a date on the creamer. Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS foods not properly date marked (critical, corrected during inspection). Observed lettuce, cucumber and cheese without a date in the walk-in cooler. PIC threw items away.

Resurfacing to begin on Ohio 309
MARION - The Ohio Department of Transportations says Ohio 309, between the Hardin/Marion County line and Holland Road, will have daily lane restrictions between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. starting Monday for road resurfacing. The work is expected to be completed Friday.
Public hearing set for Big Island Township budget
BIG ISLAND TWP - The Big Island Township Trustees will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2022 budget at 6 p.m. June 15 at the township hall, located at the corner of Decliff-Big Island and Bumford roads. Morral, health department awarded EPA funding
MARION - Communities in Northwest Ohio are receiving more than $28 million in low-interest rate funding from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to improve wastewater and drinking water infrastructure and make other water quality improvements. The loans were approved between Jan. 1 and March 31. The lower interest rates and principal forgiveness will save communities $4.6 million.
Morral is receiving $332,980 to design a sanitary sewer system for the village.
Marion Public Health will receive $100,000 in principal forgiveness loans to repair and replace household sewage treatment systems.
Statewide, Ohio EPA awarded more than $370 million in loans during the first quarter of 2021, including $6.75 million in principal forgiveness.

Josalyna Baney, 38, Marysville Reformatory, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. She faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. June 3.
Nicolas R. Bils, 23, 533 W. Sycamore St., Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for having weapons under disability. He was granted credit for 47 days served and any additional days while awaiting transportation. A charge of aggravated possession of drugs was dismissed.
Christian G. Moreno, 31, 317 W. Main St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to attempt. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. He also pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. He faces up to 90 days in jail and $500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. June 3.
