Main St. Pocatelloâs newest brewery is pouring their own handcrafted beers and seltzer along with several guest taps Monday through Saturday from 3 to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 2 to 10 p.m. They have T-shirts, logo pint glasses, stickers and âStar Routeâ masks for sale. POTTSVILLE â Schuylkill County transferred $120,000 on Wednesday to enable prison officials to pay for increased employee overtime.
However, the money already is in the budget and will not result in increased overall spending, Director of Finance Paul E. Buber told the commissioners.
âWe did have some (employee) turnover,â Buber said before the commissioners OKâd that and other 2020 budget adjustments.
However, the main cause was the need to send some corrections officers to the state training school, Buber said. The school has reopened after being closed due to the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic, he said.
âTheir absence led to overtime for others,â Buber said.

The COVID-19 pandemic decimated travel across the globe, and Milwaukee’s first hostel was not immune to the effects. Cream City Hostel closed its doors earlier this year amidst the travel slowdown.
But the building at 500 E. Center St. didn’t go dark. Bader Philanthropies is backing a new cooperative housing model built from the hostel’s infrastructure. The organization is providing a low-interest $450,000 loan to support the building’s conversion and retire existing debt. Milwaukee Area Cohousing is providing support on the conversion.
Ten members of the
âJust Plein Nutsâ outdoor painting group will exhibit their work from Jan. 3, 2021, to Feb. 8, 2021, in the main gallery at the Kingsport Renaissance Center. Regional landscapes in oil, acrylic and watercolor will be on display and available for sale. No formal reception is planned for this exhibit due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, but paintings will be on view in the gallery under social distancing guidelines. The Renaissance Center is located at 1200 E. Center St., Kingsport. The gallery is located on the second floor of the building. Call (423) 246-1227 for more information.
