Chico City Council Member Kami Denlay resigns, citing concern for family safety

CHICO, Calif. – First-term Chico City Council Member Kami Denlay resigned Saturday, June 26, 2021, from her elected government position in District 3.
Denlay shared in her resignation letter that she was concerned for the safety of her family. She added that the resignation brings her sadness.
“After misled rumors were fed to media outlets,” Denlay said in her letter, “I discovered that my children and husband had been surveilled as a means to get to the bottom of rumors.”

CHICO, Calif. - The world s largest meat processor, JBS, is still trying to get fully up and running again following the weekend cyber attack.
Now, there is fear the price we all pay at the grocery store will go up.
Javier Inzunza says he hasn t seen his mother since the pandemic began in March of 2020. With him and his family now vaccinated, he ll take the holiday weekend to finally see them.
