An Evansville teen was injured Monday, July 19, when he lost control of his motorcycle on Interstate 94, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Brody Merritt, 16, of Evansville, was treated at Alomere Health in Alexandria for injuries that were not life-threatening, the State Patrol report said.
Merritt was driving a Honda CBR 600 west on I-94 near mile marker 82. The motorcycle went into the north ditch and rolled, landing in the north ditch. Merritt was wearing a helmet.
Ashby Ambulance, Evansville Fire and North Memorial Ambulance also responded to the crash.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville firefighters were honored for their efforts in a March house fire.
The Evansville Fire Merit Commission presented a company citation to members of EFD’s Engine 10.

Firefighters rescued two people from the second story on the backside of the home.
Two people were treated on the scene for possible smoke inhalation.
“When you work with a great crew, it doesn’t seem like I did anything special. It means a lot to get an award like this with the brothers and sisters I work with,” said Lt. Michael Steiner with the Evansville Fire Department.
