Thursday marked a milestone at the Orange County Convention Center. It was the 100th day of operation for vaccinations at the site. Nearly 240,000 vaccines have been administered at the convention center. With an increase in supply to the area, hundreds of appointments are available next week. There are also multiple mobile sites around the county. On Friday, shots will be administered at Bravo Supermarket on Oakridge Road, Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in West Orlando and El Presidente Supermarket in the Pine Hills area.In an effort to get school-aged children vaccinated, shots will be available at the following high schools next Wednesday: Colonial High school, Evans High School and Jones High School.Dr. Raul Pino says younger people need to get vaccinated.
