Two in deadly bar fight face second charge
Two people have now been charged with the assault in an incident that left one person dead at O’Brien’s Sports Pub.
James Henderson and Jorge Soto are back behind bars, this time charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the late December incident in the parking lot of the northside Wichita Falls bar.
According to the arrest warrants:
Shortly after midnight Dec. 28, Wichita Falls Police responded to O’Brien’s Sports Pub on N. Scott Avenue for a disturbance. Police discovered two people had been stabbed.
The victims, Evan Aleman and David Barron, were transported to the emergency room for treatment. Aleman was pronounced dead at the hospital. Barron was admitted to the hospital for continued treatment.

Wichita Falls police have arrested a third suspect in connection to a deadly stabbing that happened at OâBrienâs Sports Pub on December 28, 2020.
Investigators interviewed witnesses on scene and they reportedly identified James Henderson, Jr. as another person involved in the fight.
They allegedly told police Henderson had kicked and stomped at the victims and had handed a knife off to someone else after officers had arrived on scene.

UPDATE - SECOND ARREST MADE
Wichita Falls police announced Wednesday they’ve made a second arrest in connection to a stabbing at O’Brien’s Sports Pub that left one person dead and two people injured.
Jorge Soto was arrested Wednesday afternoon by WFPD Crimes Against Persons detectives.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers issued a Fresh 48 on Monday after authorities made their first arrest regarding the murder at OâBrienâs Sports Pub.
âMoney talks and people want this money and they know this is a program where they donât have to give their name or any other information,â said Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers Program Director Brian Bohn. âI can remain completely anonymous and receive that money.â
