Border Network for Human Rights marches for immigration reform

Hundreds of activists marched through the streets of Downtown El Paso on Saturday for the ‘We Are The 11 Million’ campaign, the largest in-person mobilization on immigration reform since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. About 300 attendees, waving American and Mexican flags and holding signs and banners, met on El Paso street in South El Paso and marched through the Downtown area to San Jacinto Plaza. The campaign calls for a commitment to achieving holistic immigration reform that includes a pathway to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented, the demilitarization of the southern border, and increased transparency and accountability among federal immigration enforcement agencies, a news release said.
