Although the plant-based-eating push began in the U.K., here in Vegas in January it’s also become known as Vegan Dining Month, due to the efforts of website Vegans, baby. This month, 20 restaurants feature special vegan dishes on the menu, and will donate a portion of the proceeds from each dish to the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada. Check them out at such restaurants as Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, Simply Pure in Container Park, Elizabeth Blau’s Honey Salt, Tacotarian, Mint Indian Restaurant and Violette’s Vegan.
