Elmore County officials, including school leaders, broke ground on what’s known as The project is moving ahead and, so far, still within budget. “We are on schedule with what we refer to as Phase One,” said Elmore County Commissioner Bart Mercer. Construction begins on Phase One at the end of summer for tennis courts, pickle-ball courts and soccer fields at what will become the future home of The Fields At Seventeen Springs. Daniel Taylor, 38, and Jessica Taylor, 37, were indicted by an Elmore County Grand Jury on charges of aggravated child abuse of their daughter, The Wetumpka Herald reported. Authorities said the Taylors held fraudulent fundraisers to benefit their daughter, who they allegedly led people to believe had cancer or another terminal illness.
