ELKHART â The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a man that occurred Thursday morning.
Elkhart County Sheriff s Department deputies responded to a call of a domestic dispute involving weapons at a house in the 23000 block of Florence Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. Officers found an unconscious 35-year-old man and a woman who sustained lacerations. Her age was not known at the time.
The woman was airlifted to a hospital, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case remains under investigation.
