DUNLAP â A man and two teenagers were found dead in a home Friday.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriffâs Department, officers were called to 23633 Spring River Drive, which is just northwest of Ox Bow County Park, at 4:07 p.m. to check on the people living there.
Deputies discovered a 47-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl deceased inside the home.

ELKHART â The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is investigating the deaths of a 47-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman and a 15-year-old female found Friday in a home.
Elkhart County Sheriff officers, responding to a welfare check, found the bodies at about 4 p.m. in a home at 23663 Spring River Dr., a neighborhood off U.S. 33 between Elkhart and Goshen.
The sheriff department did not release the names of the victims or any information about the nature of their deaths, and referred The Tribune to the county prosecutorâs office for information.
âThere are no concerns for the safety of the public at this time,â the sheriffâs department said in written statement.

Officers dispatched to scene that left one with a gunshot wound By: Lari onna Green
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Around 7:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Concord Avenue regarding a shooting.
When Elkhart Police Department officers arrived on the scene, they located a 41-year-old male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital for life threatening injuries.
Officers called in detectives from the Elkhart County Homicide Unit to take over the case.
Although there have been no arrests made at this time, there is no immediate threat to public safety.
