Germany s Francesco Friedrich was dominant once more in Innsbruck, winning his seventh International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) World Cup race of the season.
Along with push athlete Alexander Schüller, Friedrich posted the best two runs of the day to storm to victory by 0.78sec in the two-man bobsleigh contest.
Olympic and world champion Friedrich has one hand on the IBSF World Cup title this season, having won all but one of the eight races so far.
Four races remain this season.
Friedrich is the reigning two-man and four-man World Cup, world and Olympic champion.
Latvia s Oskars Ķibermanis and Matīss Miknis backed up a strong first run to win the silver medal in a close battle for the other spots on the podium.
The sports federations includes; Nigeria Teqball Federation, Bobsled and Skeleton Federation of Nigeria and Nigeria Curling Federation.
Also the AGM unanimously approved the NOC president Activities Report and finance and audit reports for the year 2019 while acknowledging the collaborative support and leadership role of President Muhammadu Buhari towards the Olympic movement.
“The NOC is happy that the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has been collaborating effectively with the Nigeria Olympic Committee, to ensure that all loose ends are tied together, in preparing our delegation for the Tokyo Olympic Games”.
“Although, we have qualified athletes in some key sports, we strive to pick up qualification places in Athletics Relays, Badminton, Weightlifting and more in Wrestling as soon as the qualification window is reopened,” the communiqué stated.

The Nigeria Olympic Committee has approved the registration of three federations namely the Nigeria Teqball Federation, Bobsled and Skeleton Federation of Nigeria and the Nigeria Curling Federation.
The NOC granted the approval during its Annual General Meeting, which was held via online videoconferencing platform, Zoom, on Thursday.
In a nine-point communique issued at the end of the meeting, the NOC also adopted some members into its board of trustees.
Ayo Omidiran, Jackson Bidei, Ambassador Haruna Garba, Mu’azu Suleyman, Lumumba Adeh, Obi Asika and Dr Lanre Glover were all adopted into the board of trustees after the motion for the proposed list of nominated board of trustees was adopted.

Olympic champion Francesco Friedrich will aim to continue his superb form when the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) World Cup season resumes in Innsbruck this weekend.
The German has won five out of the six two-man races so far this campaign and has finished in either first or second place at his last 26 World Cup events.
Friedrich, the Olympic two and four-man gold medallist at Pyeongchang 2018, leads the overall two-man standings going into the second consecutive World Cup competition in the Austrian city.
The 30-year-old is chasing the overall record for World Cup victories as he has 42 wins, two adrift of the 44 achieved by his compatriot André Lange.
