Suzi F. Garcia is the author of the chapbook,
A Home Grown Fairytale, Bone Bouquet 2020, executive editor of Noemi Press, and online editor for the
Michigan Quarterly Review. She was raised in Arkansas, but now resides in the Midwest with her partner and their two cats.
Poets and readers from the community will precede the feature.

Join us on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm Central for a generative workshop with featured poet Suzi F. Garcia.
Fanfiction as Ekphrasis Writing
In this workshop, we ll discuss how cultural works are formative works, and using these pieces as entry ways to ourselves. There will also be general ekphrasis discussion and prompts.
The workshop will take place virtually via Zoom with Otter Live Captions. An ASL interpreter will be present. Access copies of workshop materials will be made available via Google Docs.
