Former Morgan State Standout has his NFL Dreams Renewed

Stacy M. Brown | 4/30/2021, 1:57 p.m. Rico Kennedy says he feels blessed to have had a second opportunity to be able to go to Morgan State University and now a third opportunity because of Eastbay, as he prepared for the combine at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. This year, the combines take place on April 30, and May 1 the same time as the NFL Draft. Eastbay When the NFL canceled a national combine in 2020 for athletes from historically black colleges and universities, former Morgan State standout linebacker Rico Kennedy figured he’d never get another shot. We’ve seen other opportunities arise recently, including one that will take place in Birmingham, Alabama over the next two days.
