East Forsyth girls run away with road win at R.J. Reynolds

East Forsyth s girls basketball team turned up the tempo in the second half to run away with a 55-36 road win at R.J. Reynolds on Tuesday.
The Eagles (4-1, 3-1 in Central Piedmont Conference) outscored the host Demons (3-4, 2-3 CPC) by a margin of 31-14 in the second half, using length and athleticism to create turnovers and spark fast break opportunities.
Sophomore La niya Simes had 14 points, senior Destiny Long had 13 points and senior Monay Galloway had 10 points to lead East Forsyth in double figures.
