Cookie Tsai (蔡想想) and I have met Yoshitomo Nara at last! Tsai wrote on her Facebook page in Chinese. Tsai praised the Yoshitomo Nara exhibition, which will open on March 12, as one of the most important events in the Taiwan-Japan Friendship Year.

Photo courtesy of China News Service Taipei, March 5 (CNA) China will continue to adopt a policy of pursing stability on issues concerning its relations with Taiwan, a Taiwanese scholar in East Asia studies said Friday when commenting on the Taiwan affairs section of the Chinese government s latest work report. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang (李克強) reiterated his country s one-China principle and the 1992 consensus when he delivered the government work report at the annual National People s Congress (NPC), China s top legislature, which opened earlier that day in Beijing. Li also spelled out Beijing s determination to promote the peaceful development of cross-Taiwan Strait links and the unification of the motherland.

One of the leading think tanks in Taiwan, TIER attributed the prospering economic trend to gradual recovery around the world as more and more countries began their vaccination programs against COVID-19, as well as the continuing booming stay-at-home economy that has prompted demand for electronic information products.
