A couple were found dead by their horrified neighbours who were supposed to take them a roast dinner.
The bodies of the man and woman, named locally as Colin Jackson and Shirley Jones, were tragically discovered on Easter Monday after they failed to answer their phones on Sunday.
When nobody had heard from them the next day, a neighbour called to the house o Mersey Street, St Helens, to check on them.
