Police will allege that about 11am on Saturday 23 January, a patrol spotted the Suzuki motorcycle on Main North Road at Salisbury Heights, travelling at speeds in excess of 200km/h. The police helicopter was nearby, and it was called to the area to safely monitor the bike as it continued to weave through traffic and drive through numerous red lights, including one at The Grove Way.

Date Time Cash, cannabis and secret grow room found As part of ongoing investigations into the activities of a group involved in the trafficking and cultivation cannabis, police searched properties at Greenwith and Port Wakefield yesterday, Sunday 24 January. Members attached to the Serious and Organised Crime Branch located 65 immature cannabis plants growing in pots in what appeared to be a ‘nursery’ style set up at Greenwith. Police also located a number of racks that appeared to have been used to dry harvested cannabis, although no harvested cannabis was located during the search. The cannabis plants and associated equipment were located in a room under the main house. Access to this room was via a secreted doorway hidden by a bookcase that could only be opened via electronic means.

Date Time Police make arrests after drug raids in northern suburbs Four men have been charged over a number of illicit drug crops uncovered yesterday in the northern suburbs. Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch together with officers from across SAPOL, conducted a series of searches as part of Operation Glasshouse, an investigation into the large commercial cultivation of cannabis. A total of eight semi-rural and northern suburbs properties were searched and a total of 3190 cannabis plants seized. Several items of prescribed equipment were also seized. A 42-year-old man from Virginia, a 40-year-old man from Paralowie, a 44-year-old man from Salisbury North and a 21-year-old man of n fixed address were all arrested and charged with cultivating a large commercial quantity of cannabis. They were all refused bail and appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.

Date Time Police arrest man for attempt murder 10 January, South Australia A Munno Para man has been charged with attempted murder following a domestic incident on Friday. At about 5.30pm, Friday 8 January police were called to a home after reports of a domestic disturbance. The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. As well as facing serious charges the man was issued with a Police Interim Intervention Order (PIIO), which provides further protection for the victim. The 36-year-old man was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow. Domestic violence is a crime committed by people from all walks of life. Police will not tolerate domestic violence and will take every action available to protect victims including arresting the perpetrators.
