President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris have announced more selections to fill economic and domestic cabinet positions.
They have also announced an expansion of their incoming National Security Council which will include portfolios in global health, cybersecurity, and expanding Democracy.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh for Secretary of Labor.
California Director of Small Business Advocate Isabel Guzman as Small Business Administrator.
Biden’s National Security Council to focus on global health, climate, cyber and human rights, as well as China and Russia
Print article The incoming Biden administration plans to restructure and expand the operations of the White House National Security Council, establishing new senior positions on global health, democracy and human rights, and cyber and emerging technology, signaling a sweeping shift in priorities, according to a senior adviser to the Biden transition. Russia, which the Trump administration had subsumed into the NSC directorate for European affairs, will again be given its own NSC director, the adviser said, speaking on the condition of anonymity about plans and positions to be announced Friday.

Washington: US President-elect Joe Biden on Friday named Indian-American Sumona Guha as senior director for South Asia and Tarun Chhabra as senior director for Technology and National Security, as he announced several key appointments to the National Security Council of the White House.
Guha was co-chair of the South Asia foreign policy working group on the Biden-Harris campaign, and serves on the transition s State Department Agency Review Team.
Biden names national security official to oversee global health security
President-elect Joe Biden plans to add a senior national security official to oversee global health security.
This government position was cut by the Trump administration in 2018, two years prior to the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Biden’s transition team in a statement released today said it would hire former White House national security official Elizabeth Cameron as Senior Director for Global Health Security and Biodefense.
Cameron is currently the Nuclear Threat Initiative’s Vice President for Global Biological Policy and Programs, and a volunteer with the Biden-Harris transition team.
