Barnstable County has finalized its employment agreement with new county administrator Elizabeth Albert.
Albert, who is stepping into the role after the resignation of Jack Yunits, formally started her job Monday.
The contract, which has a three-year term, stipulates that Albert will make $165,000 annually $10,000 more than Yunits earned when he was hired in 2016.
Her salary, which can be adjusted each year on July 1, will be automatically increased based on cost of living, per county policy. Albert must be in the office during normal business hours, but will be on call 24/7 on a county-provided cellphone. She will not earn overtime for her work outside of regular work hours.
