In our exclusive interview with former beauty queen, actress and Pola, Oriental Mindoro Mayor Jennifer Mindanao Cruz, also known as Ina Alegre, she revealed that actors Coco Martin and Julia Montes will start shooting their latest film together in some beautiful spots in Pola.
“Yes they (Coco, Julia and the cast) are scheduled to arrive in Pola on July 14 and the filming of the project will be for two weeks,” Cruz said, adding that the project is expected to boost tourism in the province.
Televangelist and “Ang Dating Daan” Founder Bro. Eliseo “Eli” Soriano passed away, Members Church of God International (MCGI) confirmed on Friday, Feb. 12. He was 73.

Contributed photo February 12, 2021 BROTHER Eliseo Eli Fernando Soriano, the charismatic televangelist and founder of the Members Church of God International who hosted the longest-running religious program in the Philippines, “Ang Dating Daan,” (The Old Path), died on Friday, February 12. He was 73.
“It is with deep sadness, yet with full faith in the Almighty, that we announce the passing of our beloved and one and only Bro. Eliseo ‘Eli’ Soriano a faithful preacher, brother, father, and grandfather to many,” read an announcement from “Ang Dating Daan’s” social media page.
It did not elaborate on the cause of Soriano’s death.

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque made after the Members Church of God International (MCGI) confirmed Soriano’s death in a Facebook post early Friday, February 12.
The religious group, however, did not disclose the cause of Soriano’s death.
“We extend our condolences to the bereaved family, friends, loved ones, and followers of Bro. Eliseo ‘Eli’ Soriano who passed away at the age of 73,” Roque said.
“Our prayers go to Bro Eli as he may rest in eternal peace and happiness,” he added.
According to Roque, Soriano will be remembered as a person who touched the lives of many people.

The religious organization, however, did not state Soriano s cause of death.
Soriano was baptized in the former Church of God in Christ Jesus, Pillar and Support of the Truth in 1964 then headed by Bro. Nicolas Perez.
