Per a report from ESPN, UFC Bantamweight Irwin Rivera was arrested Thursday in West Palm Beach, Florida on a pair of attempted murder charges. More specifically, Rivera is accused of stabbing his two sisters.
According to the incident report obtained by ESPN, Boynton Beach police officers were called to a residence and found two women, aged 22 and 33, with multiple stab wounds. Both women were alive and taken to the hospital. One of the sisters revealed that they were staying in one of Rivera’s spare bedrooms, when the UFC veteran attacked them with a knife.
UFC bantamweight, Irwin Rivera has been arrested on two counts of first-degree premeditated murder.
According to Eric Kowal of MyMMANews, Rivera had allegedly stabbed his sisters and on Thursday, he was arrested. MMAFighting was able to confirm with police records

MMAFighting revealed that online arrest records for the Palm Beach County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office show Rivera was booked into custody at 12:08 p.m. on Thursday at the Main Detention Center in West Palm Beach.

The mental health of anyone is a big concern right now and that does not exclude the UFC. It appears it is the odd case tied to Irwin Rivera who is facing two counts of attempted murder.
The Mexican was arrested on Thursday in West Palm Beach, Florida after stabbing his two sisters according to an incident report obtained by ESPN.
Making it even more disturbing is that the 31-year-old Mexico City native told authorities that he had killed his sisters and claiming he did it for a “higher power.”
