A bantamweight matchup has been added to the UFC’s summer slate of events.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a fight between Andre Ewell and Julio Arce will take place at the UFC’s event on July 24 at a location and venue yet to be announced.
Ewell will look to get back on track after having his recent two-fight winning streak snapped by Chris Gutierrez via unanimous decision at UFC 258. Prior to the short notice booking, “Mr. Highlight” picked up decision wins over Irwin Rivera and Jonathan Martinez. Ewell is set to make his eight octagon appearance.
