Jennifer Marie Spencer, 38, of Harvest was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 6:15 a.m. Sunday. She was fatally injured when the Dodge Dart she was driving was hit head-on by a Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Eric Carson King, 19, of Athens, according to troopers. They say King’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the Dodge. Both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where Spencer died from her injuries.

ALEA: Alcohol a factor in fatal wreck Sunday

Dec 28, 2020 Dec 28, 2020 Investigators with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency s Highway Patrol Division say alcohol is being considered a contributing factor in a crash that killed one and left another injured Sunday in Limestone County. The two-vehicle wreck occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, near Lucas Ferry Road, about 5 miles south of Athens. ALEA Trooper Brandon Bailey said 19-year-old Eric Carson King was driving along the road when his Chevrolet Monte Carlo crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2015 Dodge Dart. King and the Dart s driver, later identified as 38-year-old Jennifer Marie Spencer of Harvest, were injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Spencer later died from her injuries.

(WAFF) - Limestone County investigators are looking into a Sunday morning crash that left one woman dead. According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Troopers, the unidentified woman was driving about five miles south of Athens on Huntsville Brownsferry Road when she was hit head on by another vehicle traveling the other direction. Troopers say Eric Carson King, 19 of Athens, crossed the center line in a Chevrolet Monte Carlo and struck the unidentified woman’s 2015 Dodge Dart.
