Chauvin Juror Reportedly Compromised
One of the Derek Chauvin jurors, Brandon Mitchell, has gone public, and it appears that he may have been less than honest during jury selection and is in fact a BLM activist. The Post Millenial reports:
A juror on the Derek Chauvin trial who told the court that he had no prior knowledge of the George Floyd civil case was photographed last August wearing a shirt that read “Get your knee off our necks” and “BLM.” He stated last week that he saw jury duty as a means to “spark some change.”
This is what a trial observer tweeted during jury selection. Brandon Mitchell was juror #52:

Brandon Mitchell, 31, was able to make it onto the Derek Chauvin jury after he checked “no” when asked if he or anyone close to him had “participated in protests about police use of force or police brutality.”
On Sunday, a photo surfaced of Mitchell wearing a “GET YOUR KNEE OFF OUR NECKS,” “BLM” shirt and a “Black Lives Matter” hat while at a protest against police brutality in Washington, DC in August 2020.

I previously reported about the problematic comments of Brandon Mitchell, Juror #52 in the trial of Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd.
Mitchell appeared on “Get Up! Mornings” show with Erica Campbell on April 27, Mitchell spoke about his experience on the jury. During the interview, Campbell said that many people aren’t all that eager to do jury duty. She asked him about what message he would leave people about “saying yes to jury duty?”
“I mean it’s important if we wanna see some change, we wanna see some things going different, we gotta get out there, get out into these avenues, get into these rooms to try to spark some change,” he said. “Jury duty is one of those things. Jury duty. Voting. All of those things we gotta do.”
