COLUMBIA, S.C. - Jeff Poppell has been named the University of South Carolina head menâs and womenâs swimming and diving coach, pending approval of the UofSC Board of Trustees, Gamecock Athletics Director Ray Tanner announced today.
Poppell comes to South Carolina from the University of Florida, where he was the head womenâs swimming and diving coach during the last three seasons.

Precision Colour Printing is shelling out more than £2.7m for Europe’s first nine-colour RMGT 1050 Tandem Perfector sheetfed press, currently being bespoke-built for the company in Japan.
PCP intends that the new Mitsubishi B1 press will provide its magazine customers with unique printing techniques that will make their covers stand out in a crowded marketplace.
The Telford-based magazine and commercial printer is replacing a 16-year-old Mitsubishi six-colour 3H/6+C press with the new RMGT 1050 TP 9 model. The new machine boasts nine printing units in a four-over-five configuration, built in the tandem perfector arrangement, and comes with a chamber coater unit and an extended delivery.
New coronavirus testing centre to open in Leitrim this week

A new Covid test centre is to open in Carrick-on-Shannon this Wednesday, January 13 as cases increase.
Situated at the North West Business & Technology Park, Castlecarra Rd., Carrick on Shannon, N41 D7P3 this new test centre offers free testing for anyone referred for COVID test by a GP. The test centre will commence testing as of Wednesday 13th January 2021.
The test centre aims to provide a service to the population of Leitrim and will complement the well established community testing centre based at Finisklin, Sligo town. It will open on weekdays initially and opening days/ times will be reviewed regularly based on ongoing demand for testing in local area.
