Reading mum Emma O Reilly was with her family in Reading town centre on Tuesday, July 27, when she needed to breastfeed her baby daughter Daisy. She decided to stop inside Pret in Broad Street as she felt uncomfortable breastfeeding in a restaurant. Emma and her partner Joe paid for their food and parked the pram next to a table, but then she was followed by a member of staff who told her if she needed to feed Daisy she d have to cover up and do it discreetly .

A betting shop manager thought he was “going to die” when a gun was pointed at his head during an armed robbery at the bookies over 10 years ago, the Special Criminal Court trial of Dubliner Trevor Byrne has been told.
Mr Byrne (41) of Cappagh Road, Finglas West, came before the court on Tuesday, after the High Court made an order in September 2020 transferring his trial from the Circuit Criminal Court to the three-judge Special Criminal Court.
