Crosstown tip-off recipients reflect on generosity of customers

The Crosstown Tip-Off Challenge continues to grow across Cincinnati.University of Cincinnati and Xavier fans challenge each other to out tip each other all in the name of helping local restaurants and bars during the pandemic. The first $1,000 tip by a Xavier fan took place at Zip s in Mt. Lookout. Soon, another big-time tip showed up at Keystone in Clifton gifted by two UC Bearcat fans along with a note expressing their support for local restaurants and declaring Bearcats up by 1! I looked on the table and there was a $1,001 tip on the check. I couldn’t believe it, server Emma Losey said. Well, especially for a college student, that s a lot of money. It definitely goes a long way. We split it with all the people in the back so I think it just made everyone s night. Everybody was just in such a good mood. So happy, so grateful.
