Emmett O Hara s scratch-and-win Set for Life ticket was a gift from a local business, according to a B.C. Lottery Corporation (BCLC) February 1 news release. The Vancouver resident was gifted the ticket from a moving company after using its services, and was doing laundry with his boyfriend when he remembered he had a ticket to scratch, the release noted. “My boyfriend scratched the ticket and for a moment there was silence,” he [O Hara] recalled. “He was in complete shock. He showed me the ticket and I couldn t believe it.”
