CSC has awarded the City a Bronze Award under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (Prime-HRM). Valdosta State University VALDOSTA, Ga. — Daniela Reyes Escalona of Moultrie, Georgia, is the recipient of the 2021 Annie Powe Hopper Award and the Outstanding Student in Business Award at Valdosta State University. Winning these awards has been my biggest pride during my VSU experience, she said. I was beyond thrilled to share the news with my family, friends, and professors and grateful I had the opportunity to make them proud. Three-vehicle accident LOCK HAVEN A three-vehicle accident that resulted in multiple citations being handed out was investigated by Lock Haven City Police on Dec. 15. According to police, the accident occurred between three vehicles a 2018 Ford 300 Series van, a 2016 Jeep Wranger and a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. The van, being driven by Charles Mandel of Lock Haven struck the Jeep, which was being driven by Brenda Titus. The force of that accident pushed the Jeep into the Equinox, which was being driven by Emily Reyes. When officers arrived at the scene, James Titus who was not in any of the vehicles was threatening Mandel and emergency personnel. Damage to all three vehicles was severe and sustained disabling damage and airbags deployed.
