McCann China poaches BBH China ECD as chief creative officer Details
McCann China has named Yinbo Ma chief creative officer. Ma will take on the role from august and will be based in Shanghai. Ma will report to Emily Chang, CEO, McCann Worldgroup China, and will be responsible for leading McCann’s creative teams across Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Ma has worked on numerous global brands including Heineken, Sprite, Audi, Samsung, Johnnie Walker and Google.
He was last with BBH China as ECD, a role which he has held for 14 years, according to his LinkedIn. He has also spent over four years with the likes of DDB and a year with Publicis in the states.
Ma will take up his creative duties in August.
Yinbo Ma has been named Chief Creative Officer at McCann China. He will report to McCann Worldgroup CEO Emily Chang when he takes over in August.
Based in Shanghai, Ma will be responsible for leading McCann’s creative teams across Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Over the course of his career, he has worked with numerous global brands including Heineken, Sprite, Audi, Samsung, Johnnie Walker and Google, winning over 50 industry awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD and One Show, in categories spanning from Film to Mobile.
