Palace Amusement led double-digit gains during Thursday’s trading on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Palace gained 20 per cent to close $1,100 and Salada Foods gained 11 per cent to $44.23.
Leading declines on the market was Eppley Caribbean Property Fund Limited down eight per cent to $43 and also Eppley Preference shares which dipped seven per cent to close at $6.59.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,213.84 points (0.31 per cent) to close at 388,163.80 and the JSE Main Index advanced by 1,182.10 points (0.30 per cent) to close at 389,430.69.
The Junior Market Index advanced by 11.77 points (0.43 per cent) to close at 2,776.72. The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 1.06 points (0.54 per cent) to close at 199.00.
