A reader writes: “I have a large pot on a patio with lots of sun but keep it covered when it gets too hot. Water it every day before 4 pm & have started using Epsom salts in the water. It starts out with dark colouring on the bottom of the tomato, then the rot starts & you lose the whole thing. They are ok until they start to turn red. Also, they seem to have less & smaller fruit.
