One case of COVID-19 has been found at both Regina’s Sheldon Collegiate and Ethel Milliken School.
Regina Public Schools says they have informed all close contacts and provided them information about self isolation.
Affected students will begin remote learning and will not return to the school until February 8th at Sheldon Collegiate and February 4th at Ethel Milliken School.
If there are any additional close contacts at the schools, they will be contacted directly by Public Health.
A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.
New COVID cases have been discovered at multiple schools in Saskatoon and Regina.
In Saskatoon, one person has tested positive at both St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School and Father Robinson School.
The affected classrooms will switch to remote learning Monday, but the rest of the school will stay open.
In Regina, there is one new case each at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate, Ethel Milliken School and Rosemont Community School.
The entire division is moving to online learning Monday, a decision made Dec. 7.
There is also a case in an adult at St. Luke School.
While Catholic schools in Regina will be moving to remote learning Monday, some intensive needs students will be keeping up with in-person learning.
