COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Local Living with ABC Columbia is brought to you by Allure Medical.
Some big changes are coming to the Riverbanks Zoo! The zoo’s Aquarium-Reptile Complex will get a major upgrade. The zoo will transform the current complex into the The Darnall W. and Susan F. Boyd Foundation Aquarium & Reptile Conservation Center. It is expected to open in the summer of 2022. The new complex will include coral colonies and a special section with plant and animal species. The current center will close in august for the start of construction.

Advanced tickets are available through the museum’s website, and Military ID must be presented at check-in for identification. Free admission is valid for military service members and up to 4 immediate family members.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The EdVenture Children’s Museum is giving free admission to military families this Memorial Day Weekend. Free admission is valid for military service members and up to four family members.
Those eligible can go to EdVenture’s website and enter the promo code “MDAYS” to reserve free tickets for Friday, or enter the code “MWKND” for tickets on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. You will need to bring your military ID when checking-in.
Tickets can be reserved at www.edventure.org.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Midlands doesn’t seem like it’s going to get snow anytime soon, so EdVenture Children’s Museum Columbia is bringing their own snowy experience. Bundle up and head to EdVenture Columbia for snowy fun, featuring indoor snow tubing, sock ice hockey and new snow science experiments.
You have some time to enjoy it, because “Snowville” runs every day until Sunday, February 28, and is free with museum admission.
