ROTARIANS may have had to cut their Christmas float run short but an amazing amount was still raised. Prestatyn Rotarians took their Christmas float out in December. Families adhered to Covid-19 guidelines and stood safely at their garden gates to greet Father Christmas. With operational restrictions in place, nine out of 14 routes were completed and £2,700 has been raised to be split between St Kentigern s Hospice, Childline (Prestatyn) and the Prestatyn and Meliden Foodbank. Martin Cotgreave, club president, said: Donations are still coming in through our website and if anyone would like to help they can do so by visiting our Rotary Prestatyn website and Facebook page.
